Lake Towhee 7/30/09

I decide to hit up lake Towhee today with a freind for some largemouth. Immediatly after we got there he got slammed By a small bass on a frog which poped off a few feet from shore. Soon after i get hung up on the bottom fishing a JD Baits Fatboy and was trying to free it when the snag started to move I though it was a turtle but yet again i was wrong when a 5lber leaped out of the water and promptly broke me off :? I was pretty pissed as this would have been a pb for me...he was a big bass After that we had no more action no matter what i through. So we decided to make a move to a local pond that has no name...just alittle hole in the ground pond. Anyway after fishing for a bit i tied on a mp worm and land this little guy on my first cast

Imediatly after i saw a much larger bass folowing me in but he diddnt want to take it...tried xraps and everything else i had and had bites but no more hookups...At least i beat the skunk! Enjoy
